Georgetown Pediatric Center (GtownPeds) of Georgetown, SC
The Georgetown Pediatric Center, PA was founded by Dr. Paul Hletko in 1992 servicing the greater Georgetown, SC County including Georgetown, Pawleys Island, Litchfield, Murrells Inlet, Garden City, Surfside, Socastee, Myrtle Beach, Maryville, Belle Isle, and McClellanville. We also serve the counties surrounding Georgetown including South Horry, Williamsburg, and North Charleston.

All of our Georgetown Pediatric Center pediatricians are either Board Certified or Board Eligible (see Provider page for more information.)
Because we recognize that many childhood problems occur on week ends, we offer Saturday, Sunday and Holiday morning office hours for acute illnesses. - see "About Us" page for more information.
We have recently been honored to be selected as one of only two offices in rural South Carolina to offer a Pediatric residency program in conjunction with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC.)
We offer our patients news bulletins and links to on line resources via this site to help with our goal of enjoying healthy kids (as well as taking care of their acute illnesses.)

If your child has what you consider to be a life-threatening emergency, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY! If your child has an after hours urgency that you do not believe to be life threatening but want advice on what to do, call our office number. Your call will be paged out and returned by our staff. Be sure that you do not have an incoming call block on your phone. Communication systems unfortunately are not perfect. If you do not receive a return call, phone the Georgetown Memorial Hospital operator @ 843-527-7000 and seek help. You may be directed to the emergency department for advice. The hospital may have other ways to contact us if a service interruption has occurred.
